This registration session will allow you to register for participation in the Jefferson Hockey Fall Clinic and the 2020-2021 Hockey Season. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately and proceed through the checkout process to ensure your player(s) registration is complete.
The deadline for registration for travelling teams is September 8. The deadline for mites will be November 30.
To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover information available. Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account for Bloomington Jefferson Hockey for Fall Clinic and a charge for Bloomington Jefferson Season. Due to COVID-19, we would like everyone to pay via credit card this year. If you absolutely must pay by check, please email Sarah.Doner@jeffersonhockey.org to make these arrangements. Checks should only be used if that is absolutely the only way you are able to pay.
STEP #1: Register with USA Hockey (Link to USA Hockey is at the bottom of the Overview section)
Each Player must register with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to sign-up for Fall Clinic and the 2020-2021 Hockey Season.
• There is a $56 charge for USA Hockey Registration.
• Be sure to PRINT and SAVE the confirmation code(s).
• Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey number. Players are required to obtain a new USA Hockey number each year.
NOTE: It is important that the spelling of the players name is consistent throughout the process. For example, if the player is registered with USA Hockey using their formal name (i.e. Matthew vs. Matty), they must be registered throughout the process with that spelling.
STEP #2: Register for Fall Clinic
This registration session will allow you to sign up for participation in the Jefferson Hockey Fall Clinic sessions. Fall Clinics begin in early to mid-September for all level of play.
Fall Clinic Fees:
Clinic fees are determined by the cost of ice time, training staff, and dry land cost using a break-even analysis and on average is less than $10 per hour. The clinic schedules will be available under the Mites and Travel Teams tabs on this site.
STEP #3: Register for the 2020-2021 Hockey Season
You are NOT registered until all registration screens are complete and you have a receipt. You will receive a receipt. Be sure and follow the screen prompts through checkout and obtain a receipt.
Players are grouped in age ranges established by Minnesota Hockey to establish common size and skill levels across the state. Within each age level, certain skill levels are established so that we end up with players of like skills and size on teams and those teams play games with other teams of like size and skill. Starting with the 2020-2021 season, the starting date of each classification will be moved from July 1 to June 1 (ex: June 1, 2009 - May 31, 2011). The change is designed to provide players born in June with the ability to play with their classmates. The age ranges are as follows for the upcoming season:

MN Hockey and District 6 have strict rules regarding residency and association eligibility. This policy is being strictly enforced and player information is verified prior to be placed on a team roster.
The players primary home address must be within the Bloomington Jefferson High School Attendance Area to play for Jefferson Hockey. All 55437 and 55438 zip codes and some 55431 zip codes are in the Jefferson High School Attendance Area.

Waiver Requirement: If your player does not live within the Jefferson High School Attendance Area, you are required to obtain a signed waiver from the Hockey Association that is in the area where you live.
Please contact the Jefferson Hockey Registrar if you have questions regarding residency and to begin the waiver process.
Failure to follow the appropriate waiver process can result in team disqualification and player removal from the team during the season.
If you are new player in Bloomington Jefferson Hockey or a 1st year player, a copy of your player's birth certificate is required prior to the closing of registration.
For your convenience, you can upload a document or image during the registration process. A cell phone picture will work in a .jpg format if it is the entire certificate and readable. This site is a secure site and your uploaded document will only be accessible by the registrar.
Season registration fees for all program levels are to be paid via credit card payment at the time of registration. Due to COVID-19, we would like everyone to pay via credit card this year. If you absolutely must pay by check, please email Sarah.Doner@jeffersonhockey.org to make these arrangements. Checks should only be used if that is absolutely the only way you are able to pay.
NOTE: Registration fees must be paid prior to try-outs. If the first payment is not received prior to the first tryout, players will not be allowed to tryout, unless a payment plan is arranged with the JHBC Board.
New Mite: Registration is $50.00
Returning Mite: Registration is $400.00
Registration payment is to be made by credit card at the time of on-line registration.
Mite players that are placed on an Intermediate or Advanced Team will have additional Team Fees which will be communicated and collected by the team manager during the season.
Travel Players (Squirt, Peewee and Bantam):
Registration Fee is $525 and due at registration. This includes $125 tryout fee and $400 payment towards the Team Fee. Registration payment is to be made by credit card at the time of on-line registration.

Team fees for the season will be collected by your team manager throughout the season in monthly increments. The final Team Fee payment is typically collected in February and is based upon actual team expenses for the season.
Registration Fee is $125 and due at registration.
